# 📅 Meeting Object
The **Meeting** object helps you easily capture, organize, and track discussions, decisions, and action items from any meeting. Keeping structured notes will give you clarity and accountability.
## 💡 How to Use Meeting Notes
### 1. **Set the Context**
Every meeting has key details:
- **Date & Time:** Helps you track when the meeting occurred.
- **People involved:** Knowing who was present helps with follow-ups.
- **Type of meeting:** Helps you filter your meetings by their type, such as 1:1s, stand ups, performance reviews etc.
### 2. **Outline the Agenda**
Before the meeting, write down the topics you plan to discuss. This keeps meetings focused and ensures important points arent missed.
### 3. **Capture Key Discussions & Decisions**
Summarize
- **What was discussed?**
- **What decisions were made?**
- **Any challenges or concerns raised?**
### 4. **Track Action Items**
Clear action points make meetings productive. Capture
- **Tasks:** What needs to be done?
- **Owners:** Who is responsible?
- **Deadlines:** When is it due?
- You can create checkboxes in Capacities using square brackets, like this `[ ]`
### 5. **Link Related Notes & Resources**
Connect your meeting notes with relevant objects like **projects or people** to maintain context and easy access to related information.
